Disappointing and Outrageous!
I recently dined at this restaurant and had an extremely unpleasant experience. The dish I originally chose was one of the cheaper options on the menu. To my surprise, I was told that this dish was allegedly no longer available. What was strange, however, was that all the more expensive dishes, which cost twice as much, were still available, even though the cheaper dish used the same meat, just with rice. Another rice dish, which was also more expensive, was available as well. So, there was no logical explanation as to why my dish was not available – all the ingredients were clearly there!
After a long discussion, they finally decided to serve me the dish. I was also told that other cheaper dishes were no longer available, which gave the impression they were trying to push the more expensive options on me.
Additionally, the portion size was far too small for the price. This experience was a total disappointment, and I will definitely not be returning to...
Read moreThe name is a bit misleading, the restaurant has "kunfu viet" written on it, but is actually Chinese food. It didn't help that when I asked the server if the noodles were rice, he didn't understand, and when I asked differently he said "Yes". They were not, as my boyfriend checked them making the noodles. I ordered the shredded chicken noodles with a lemon & lemongrass iced tea (no sugar) and found the noodles to be the blandest and boring noodles I have ever had.
The noodles lacked enormously in flavour, I actually had some cartilage attached to my chicken pieces, barely any veggies and the broth tasted like msg instead of a proper infused, broiled broth.
The iced tea I ordered without sugar I got with sugar.
The condiments on the table are soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce which aren't both the best for the noodles we ordered to spice the dish up.
If you fancy good noodles, I recommend...
