Not recommended — especially for the price. We were a bit misled by the (very) positive Google reviews and ended up regretting our visit.
The BBQ platter for two costs a steep 559,000 VND — and you’ll likely still be hungry unless you order extra rice on the side. We also found the quality of the meat underwhelming. Specially the beef and the chicken were tough and chewy, no matter how long we grilled them.
The staff were friendly and tried their best, but communication was difficult as they barely spoke any English. The atmosphere was okay — nothing particularly special.
Up to this point, we might still have given it 3 stars… but then came the wet towels. They were placed on the table without a word, and later charged at 10,000 VND each. The owner mentors the children that work at the restaurant and teaches them English and how to work in hospitality. Tourist’s that come to eat here gives the children a chance to practice their English! We had a great time with Moon, who looked after us very well and was great to chat to!
