Family had read TiCTok reviews about this place, so we tried it out.
SUMMARY: Ok place, if you want to try a different version of pho with artichoke incorporated into the food. 6.5/10 Foodwise. 8.5/10 for atmosphere. Eat once, wouldn't return.
Our group came in around 9am on a weekday morning. Place was only 1/3 full, so plenty of room for our dozen person group.
Decor was fresh, modern and clean. Could be a bit tight if fully packed. Otherwise, nice place to chill as they had a few benches out front. The nearby street drains presented a rather foul smelling experience.
Orders came out quick and fast, as it should be because it was a slow morning. However, the pho broth was disappointingly not piping hot. The temperature was perfect if you had the tolerance of a 5 year old todler.
Meat and noodle quantity was average. Standard Asian size. Broth lacked the meaty beef flavor one would distinguish from a superior pho house. More of a lighter flavour that was neither here or there.
They had the standard pho versions (no beef balls, sad ) or one with a large rib. Didn't bother with the rib as it looked heavy for a breakfast meal.
The pho came with the fried dough bread, but they 'ran out' when we asked for more. Greasy and cold, rather than freshly fried. Atleast not stale so ok if dipped into the broth.
Price was reasonable, $40AUD for 11pax with drinks.
They had other bun and vegetarian dishes for vegans, but we came...

The star of the show, undoubtedly, is their Phở. The noodles are just the right kind of tender, and the beef, oh the beef! It's tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, melting in your mouth with each bite.

Read moreArtispho Dalat offers a unique twist to traditional pho by incorporating artichoke into their recipe—a creative nod to Dalat’s famous artichokes.
As someone who loves trying different takes on classic dishes, I found the use of artichoke in the pho intriguing. It added a light, earthy note and complemented the overall presentation.
However, while the concept was exciting, the execution fell slightly short. The broth, which is the soul of any pho, lacked depth and richness. It felt as though the artichoke’s delicate flavor overshadowed the bold, aromatic undertones that make pho broth so comforting and satisfying.
The other elements of the dish—tender noodles and fresh herbs—were spot on, but the missing complexity in the broth left me wanting more. With a bit more balance in seasoning and perhaps a stronger infusion of traditional spices, this pho could truly stand out as a harmonious blend of creativity and authenticity.
Artispho Dalat is worth a visit for the experience, but I hope they refine the recipe to bring out the best of...
