Please read the Tripadvisor alert !!!||This hotel is nothing about a 5 Stars Hotel at all !||Location and Building is very lovely of course and it has good facilities, this is a given.||However, the Service there is not poor, it is worse !!||Let me describe what reality is :||- This is 1st a hotel for Vietnamiese Tour Operators. You will be literally invaded by dozen of People crying, speaking loud and making the Hotel lobby a mix between a Karaoke and Train Station Area ! In 2 full Days, we didn't see any Occidental Tourist here. It is our 9th hotel in Vietnam, 1st time it happens.||- The Suites are on the 10th Floor but some of them are literally in front of the Swimming pool open from 6am to 8pm !!!! Incredible, never saw such bat arrangement.||- Do not look for the Mini Bar, it is empty/ Answer from the Staff : we had problems with some customers !!! ||- Do not try arrange transportation service from or to the Airport. They do not reply on emails and don't know how to do, we did it ourselves in 10mn when the statf was saying " the Grab 7 seats don't want to come here...." completely wrong of course||- Laundry : 1 person will come and do the calculation, on top of you, on the floor with the Door Open....Where are we ??||- From Restaurant and Reception, about 10/12 folks, I founded 2 speaking English.||Building is lovely again but the Service is even short for a 4 Stars.||1st time I do it but don't come here, there is nothing approaching...
Read moreWhat works: wonderful staff, great breakfast. FnB manager Mr Hoai Nam was simply superb in attending to our requests, responsive to feedback and led a great team of young servers. Breakfast was amazing, with staple offerings yet new ones daily. Concierge staff Nguc Phuc was so helpful. Comfortable bright room with motorized shades (that work!), clean and spacious, with nice touches in design and amenities. Really nice heated swimming pool, cordoned off from the kids'. Location is slightly off-city but quiet, with lots of nice eateries within walking distance or easily reached via grab.
What could be better: Having a tour desk as in most top hotels and providing a free shuttle service to the city would have been so much more convenient. Front desk staff could be more conversant with basic information like currency exchange, and location of amenities nearby. Only a handful managed with basic English, so more could be trained. Room wise, have a heater handy when the temperature dips, provide better coffee (not packet and 3-in-1 please!) and better quality shampoo - had to go buy a strong conditioner when hair was ruined :(
Overall, a...
Read moreThis hotel will delete negative feedbacks instead of trying to resolve the issues. there is no insulation in the room. No noise cancellation. You will hear everything that is happening next door, outside on the streets and in the hallways. I later went to a 3 star hotel and they had better noise cancellation than this place shower was leaking water everywhere the hallways is always so cold you will question where you actually are despite the cold hallways and poorly insulated windows, there is NO heating in any room. The ducted system only has cool functions. How funny! Not sure I can understand the logic. cleaning staff - rude and doesn't want to see you spending too much time in front of the mirror in the bathroom
It does look good on the outside but anyone who frequent 5 star hotels will question how it got the status. Definitely not pleasant to stay at. They should put No Heating on their website as this is a basic expectation at ANY hotel and failing to provide this facility can constitute false advertising. I would have never booked this hotel knowing that there is no heating...
