What a pleasant surprise with this chicken shop. We have been on tour for 2 weeks so my son missed KFC, as an alternative we were looking for a grilled chicken restaurant for him. This Co Sinh chicken shop was introduced to us by the hotel reception, when we went there around 6pm, there was no one there so we were abit worried if the food is really good as recommended. Anyway, we came in and ordered one grilled chicken (ga nuong) and rice and young banana salad. They were all so tasty that we just kept eating to the last piece of everything and my son said he has not had a full meal like this for the last two weeks as he is quite picky on food. Mang Den is famous for chicken. Because most of Mang Den is hills and mountains, chickens have to use more energy to run to build big muscles that make chicken meat is delicious. This restaurant is one of the most famous for Grilled chicken in Mang Den. Seasoning grilled chicken is on a bamboo mat that is not too tender with crunchy skin. We ordered 1 bamboo mat of chicken for only 220k. Lam Rice is the rice on a bamboo tube that is fried (only 20k/tube). The rice is tender with a good smell. There are many other meals here. I really love the roasted chicken and sticky rice. The chicken skin is crispy with a little bit of salt, you can either eat it as served or you can dip the sauces they provided. For the sticky rice, the taste itself is a bit sweet but highly recommend you to dip with the peanut powder, this will increase the sweetness of it. The portion is good for 2 person and the kid (staff) able to communicate in English and friendly as well! The only cons for this place is there are a few flies I will need keep swatting while eating the chicken.
