Mì Ý Là Pasta — Restaurant in Da Lat City

Having just arrived in DaLat, Google Maps made easy my initial search choice which was mostly based on the reviews of this eatery and it’s proximity. Florence the proprietor was engaging and helped with the evenings’ menu choices. I chose Rosemary pasta with a marinara and mushroom sauce. I also ordered a garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette. The spaghetti tasted great and the salad was garden fresh. I might add that I found all menu items modestly priced. All this to say: After returning to my hotel, I realized that I absently minded left my satchel draped to my chair. Consulting Google once more I was able to get the establishment’s phone # and verify that I had in fact left my satchel there. Needless to say I was most pleased to have my belongings returned and even though I offered a monitory recompense, Florence modestly refused. What a nice lady. Terrible Experience – Avoid This Restaurant We visited this restaurant twice, and both times were a disappointment. On the first day, it was unexpectedly closed, even though the opening hours stated otherwise. On the second day, we finally managed to eat, but I wish we hadn’t bothered.

I ordered a dish from the pasta category, but there were no actual pasta! Instead, it was just a mix of corn, sausage, and a sprinkle of cheese – completely unacceptable. My girlfriend’s pasta dish wasn’t any better. Her “sauce” was essentially watery milk with no flavor. The portions were pathetic, leaving us hungry afterward.

The atmosphere was awful. We were seated next to an unfinished, unpainted wall, and the whole place was freezing cold, making it impossible to enjoy the meal. The prices were far from cheap. Save yourself the trouble and dine...

A quaint and cosy, small, restaurant with romantic vibes. Only about 5 tables, and located at the end of a small road, so the place is quiet, low noise.

The price is quite high, similar to high quality restaurants, with each portion starting around 100k.

However the food is disappointing. The cream pasta was watery. The portion size was small, not even enough for my 5yo kid. Pizza was so sad. The larger 16cm (150k) may just be enough for one person. The flavours are bland, like eating bread. The cheese is just melted, not brown, and falls off the bread. Definitely not worth the price, will not be...
