Morning in Town Coffee — Restaurant in Da Lat City

Interesting place. Unusually homey interior decoration. Lots of parking in the front with a security guard watching over your bike. Lots of outside seatings you can choose from right at the front to the side and back area. Probably not ideal during COVID since the tables are close to each other. Be careful of the big cherry blossom plant in the front of the entrance. You might walk into it since it's poorly placed. Go to the far patio if you want a breathtaking view of Da Lat while enjoying your breakfast/lunch or just coffee. They also have smoothies and milkshakes. I had an enjoyable mango smoothie with extra chopped mango pieces. They give you a free hot tea to wash down the food and thick drinks. They have only one raisin Danish style pastry but have several cakes to choose from that are topped with different berries. I wish I still eat sweet cakes like these 🥺 The pastry was okay. I don’t understand how a cafe that opens until 10pm stops serving half of the food menu after 11am? Which it does not state on the menu, we had to be told by our less than enthusiastic waitress. And when we ordered what we were allowed to off the menu, it was nowhere near worth the money they are charging for it. Feels like the pretentious facade is just what it is, a facade.
