Al Fresco's Hoàng Ngân — Restaurant in Hà Nội

What a disappointing place! Perhaps this restaurant can fool local patrons that its food is high quality western, but this place is just awful. The food portions were small coming with basic fried foods that were certainly frozen. Nothing fresh about the produce, and also an extortionately high price for Vietnam and internationally. I will say the staff were absolutely wonderful - always greeting us with big smiles and prompt service, so 10/10 for them.

To the management and owners - this mediocre food quality is not at all sufficient for the price paid. It is extremely disappointing and a waste of time. For any one looking for good western options just visit Hoam Kiem areas, as you will surely be shocked by this excuse for...

I love your food and occasionally I like your service. Not today however.

1. Had to wait for the waiter to order and then the waiter ran away to find somone who could speak English
2. Ordered a medium steak but got medium rare. The manager tried to explain, but if be even did a quick google search he would have known he was completely wrong. Come on... it’s not rocket science and a blind person can see the difference. Basically, please don’t lie to your customers or make sure you are qualified.

Staff is great! Food is ok. When I placed my order I explained that usuallly when I order their "Thick Shake" it is usually just sweet milk, then the kitchen failed again. Honestly, it is such an easy recipe. My main dish of "steak wrapped cheese" was mostly strong onions with very little cheese inside. I drowned it in tabasco making the meal ok.
