On The Rocks at Citadines Marina Halong — Restaurant in Hạ Long City

We have been in Vietnam for 2 weeks we have traveled from the south Ho Chi Minh City and stopped in so many places in between/hotels mostly 4/5 star and my partner and I can say hand on heart this place has been the highlight. No disrespect to all the other lovely places and staff we have come across. But this place is truly amazing our room with the view is breathtaking. We thought we would celebrate with a few drinkies at the rooftop bar and it only gets better the staff are outstanding friendly kind and accommodating with great knowledge of the attractions to explore. What more could I say but you will not be disappointed. The next part of this review asks how much did you spend per person? Stunning views! 5-6p (17-18h) is buy 1 get one free with their drinks (make sure you know is BOGO for the same drink - not like in the USA where you can get a different one at same or less - I ended up paying for both.)

You’re not going to get local prices here but if that’s ok with you, it’s a great experience!

I had a couple apps - edamame only 40k and the fried tofu was 80k (prices include tax and 5% tip). Best tofu I’ve ever had!!

The views are awesome. They have indoor and outdoor spaces and music (it’s a little loud but it’s also a rooftop bar so def part of the ambience). Ended up liking the music as evening went on.

Great selection of drinks and a small food menu that has vegan options (as above).

We tried ten different cocktails, and every single one was an absolute masterpiece — perfectly balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. You can truly feel the passion and attention to detail in every drink.

The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the atmosphere on the 30th floor made the evening unforgettable — stunning view, relaxed vibe, and top-notch music.

A very special mention goes to our waiter, Duc Thanh, who made the night even better with his kindness, professionalism, and great recommendations. He turned a great experience into an amazing one.
