We heard about tours to a vegetable village and decided to visit on our own, hoping to pay directly to a local family and skip the organized tours. We paid 400k per person for a tour of the vegetable garden, a cooking class, and a meal. The tour was quite interesting —we learned about the ingredients used in Vietnamese dishes and even planted some vegetables ourselves. The farm is beautiful and well-maintained.
After the tour, we enjoyed a refreshing drink and had some time to relax before the cooking class. The class was a lot of fun, with the instructor making the process entertaining. We cooked three dishes and were served additional food, all of which was delicious. Drinks are extra, and you can get a foot massage for an additional 50k.
