Very helpful on arrival from the harbour taking us to the home stay with all our luggage. I found the room not that clean or fresh. We didn’t feel comfortable renting a bike to drive ourselves which meant we were limited to explore the island as no other way of getting around. The roads are very steep and you need to be an experienced rider for the roads. We got a left to the beach on bikes and in the return lift the girl driving my daughter fell off the bike, luckily no one was hurt. We found the atmosphere a little flat and not much to do. Tons of geckos crawled around the room and in the bathroom. I get that it’s an island but it wasn’t for us. We decided to leave a day early and staff were helpful in sorting this out and we still had to pay for the night we weren’t staying. Read moreAmazing beach bar on Cham Island. The owner is very friendly and makes incredible cocktails at a great price (around 100k). The views are beautiful and after 2pm you pretty much have the whole beach to yourself.
The restaurant next door is excellent as well and well priced with great seafood. I came to Cham Island last year and there wasn’t any beach bars, so this is a great addition to the island.
Ignore the one star review as that is a government fee to keep the beaches and facilities clean (60 pence!!!!)

Go after to enjoy peace and quiet, sunset is amazing. Food and drinks were delicious, amazing passionfruit daiquiri, fresh and fruity. The grilled fish was amazing too, fresh, local and well cooked.
