Le Steak — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

We ate here after walking around the area for 30 minutes struggling to find somewhere to eat.

The restaraunt is welcoming and clean so we had high hopes. We didn't fancy steak, their main dishes, so ordered the spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti meatballs. We were shocked by the tiny size of the portions - so small that the pasta occupied about a tennis ball size on the plate. I slowly ate my dish, rationing the portion, but finished it in under a minute.

The food tasted great but the portion sizes were just ridiculous. I would serve an adult 3 dishes of their pasta to make an average portion. Although a cheap dish (60,000 VND) it was definitely not worth this price for the city.

To top off a bad night they charged us for the wet towels, which they laid out on the table when we walked in without us asking for them (presumably complimentary, no?)

We quickly paid up and left, leaving...

(There are many photos below) Place: hard to find, even with the Google Maps.Small but cozy, with ~10 table and can host up to 50 guests at the same time. The restaurant is nicely decorated with just right amount of music.

Menu: Just western dishes.

Food: I ordered 226 gram Steak with mushroom sauce and an additional smashed potato. Wait around 20 mins and they're all set. Steak is nicely cook to medium rare and tasty. BUT the smashed potato is not original, it was mixed with ... Cheese lolz and I didn't like it.

Drink: only water so nothing special.

Price: medium high (300,000 VND for the meal) (see photos)

Come back? Yes, but only when I want to invite somebody to have a nice steak dinner on a little...

This steak restaurant offers amazing value for money – the prices are incredibly reasonable! The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date with your significant other. The service is friendly and attentive, and the space is spacious, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal.
