PHỞ 24 - SALA NGUYỄN CƠ THẠCH — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

In my personal opinion Pho 24 is a great place to try this traditional dish. I tried at least 4 different restaurants of pho just in Ho Chi Min city including the famous Pho 2000 and I can totally confirm that Pho 24 was better. For 3 reasons, first of all is not as busy as 2000 where you have to wait for at least 20-30 minutes in un unbearable heat among many other guests who really are just there because it is famous as a result of Bill Clintons visit. Second, you can seat by yourself in your own table, as compared to 2000 you end up being seated with any stranger that might not have the best eating habits, some of them witch you could consider disgusting and third the flavour is definitely better, way more balanced with fresher ingredients, and in half of the time. Price related is great, everything is super affordable in Vietnam =). If you have the time visit both or more do it, but if not definitely go...

A very nice a clean place. Easy to get there since roads are not crowded. Car parking was directly in front of the restaurant.

The pho is pretty good. Basically my favorite. Just the meat is how to say: disappearing 🤣 Its so delicious, but only a few pieces. Could be more even without ordering an additional meat bowl. I had a standard pho small size and spring roles. Don't ask me about other dishes. Okay, you have try a small bowl with soup and an egg, yellow only. Great taste!

Avoid this place, the staff attitude is horrible. Refusing to sell combo buy 1 get 1, even it's in the list of promotions and restaurants (other pho 24 still sell it too). Cannot even tell when the promotion ended (ofc, because it didn't end, just staff doesn't want to make extra movements). Tried all other pho 24 places in the city and had such issues only here and the second Sala place nearby, such a shame to have such staff in a nice area like Sala. They also charge extra tet commission after holidays...
