Tippy's @ The Dive Saigon. — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

This place is always crowded whenever we walked by so here we are for dinner to test out. My husband ordered a chicken wrap combo with french fried. I ordered a chicken shawarma kebab bowl. The person who greeted and served us was a lady and we saw she was the only one taking order, serving, checking on customers, and collecting bills. A one man show and she was totally efficient! Food was pretty good, we would prefer a little less sauce as the food almost drowned in the sauce, the price for food was good while the price for beer was a little more expensive than other beer place near by. My husband ordered a Huda beer, large size but was brought out a smaller size but he was ok with it.

Good drink and food. New look makes me feel very comfortable 🥰 Everything was very good but I got bad experience a few days ago. In day time, I went there and tried to look for my friend sitting inside but the staff didn't welcome and ask me what I needed. She looked very unhappy with sad face. When we left, she just said goodbye to my friend and ignored me although I said goodbye to her. Did she treat us with different attitudes because I'm Vietnamese and my friend is foreigner? I remember the girls working in night time are very cheerful, friendly and warm. Please train all your staff to respect all...

This is a great little bar. Its what this community needs it’s a nice gathering place with a friendly and welcoming vibe. Vietnamese lady owner who seems very nice and switched on, friendly efficient staff and looks like an American expat guy who looks like a young Bruce Willis is a partner there and does a fine job making guests feel at home. Superb range of beers at very reasonable prices, choose your own music and they have a full range of live sports on TV. They also have food on site which is welcome after a few beers. We sat outside, it’s quite tranquil in that part of D7 and it overlooks some nice open...
