EDIT: On top of that, after a few hours, it turned out that we got FOOD POISONING!!! Diarrhea, vomiting—what a nightmare!!! Don't eat there. I've been in Vietnam for a month and a half, and this was my worst food experience. We tried to order dinner for 35 VND, and the staff repeatedly tried to push us to more expensive dishes, even though we refused. We ordered the same dish four times, and we received two portions with meat and vegetables, and two portions with just meat and no vegetables. Why? The staff put the dishes on the table, along with the hot sauces, and started pouring hot sauce on our dishes, despite my strong objections. Luckily, I managed to stop her before she poured it on all the dishes, as the children wouldn't be able to eat it. Because she poured it on my dish despite my objections, my dish was so spicy that eating it was a very unpleasant experience for me. Furthermore, the restaurant doesn't offer free water, which is standard in Vietnamese restaurants. The portions were very small. I don't...

About the food. I went with my family and we got Bun thit nuong, Banh khoai, Banh uot heo quay and banh cuon thit nuong. The food is good and price isnt too mint. However, the last dish on the list, its grilled pork (main filling) was somewhat spoiled and didnt smell really great. Otherwise, good.
When it comes to customer service. Id say quite POOR honestly. I didnt particularly looked into the reviews prior so going here was a leap. The boss lady was not responsive. Like when we call for this one more dish, she didn’t looked at us or even flinched so then we had order for the 2nd time just make sure things got through and were confirmed that they got it, in a annoyed manner too. About 15 minutes later, the dish is nowhere to be found. They looked rather confused and when we confronted them.
Will we ever come back? No, thanks to lady boss, who was to busy chit chatting than to serve.
P/s: Read the reviews. So we’re not the only one who gets bad service here. Still...
Read moreThe food is not good. We ordered Bún Mam Heo Quay. My friend received only the fat from the pork and I got really burned and hard pieces (bones?). We also took the Banh Cuon which was ok… The one thing that’s nice is that it is really local restaurant, maybe they gave us the last batch as we came in late at night. This Restaurant was recommended in multiple guides however it was far from living up to the expectations: cheap but poor quality (maybe since we are tourists?). Beside that, the service was fast maybe too fast as the meals were already ready… Atmosphere is not incredible but very local which is nice. we might have been unlucky but sadly not the best meal...
