Tam Coc Moonlight Coffee & Bread — Restaurant in Ninh Bình Province

I dipped into this place to wait out the torrential rain. I ordered a beer and a papaya salad. Just as my food arrived the power went out. The owner was kind enough to set up his phone's flashlight so I could eat. Afterwards, he gave me a fresh mango as a dessert (on the house) and offered to join him as his friends and family for tea and a cigarette. The salad was great, light and refreshing. We were cycling in some heavy rain and ended up in Moonlight for dinner. We were the only ones there and the owner was very nice to offer a fan for us (we were soaked from the rain).

Definitely worth the visit to get your morning egg coffee or something light to start your day. The passion fruit was delicious.

When you order the egg coffee, make sure you stir the coffee from bottom up. The egg creme is so rich on top of coffee and you need to stir it to get the coffee from bottom up. The coffee was alittle sweeter than I drink it but still, I was happy with it.
