Kim Ngan Seafood — Restaurant in Quy Nhơn

The second day we went into town to explore Qui Nhon. It was raining so the coffee hang out was close. We asked the cab driver if he knows a good seafood place to eat, so the cab driver took us here. Once arrived we saw buckets downstair displacing all the exotic sea creatures. My girlfriend smelled something funny with the way the cab driver so she only order 1. As you can see from the picture the little neck clams are way dead so their meat were all shrunken. Not only that they were also over priced. Any be smart and don't go for this place. They are bait and switch type. My girlfriend also read the review online after we got in and many travelers are also driven to this place by cab drivers. The drivers are getting commissioned to drink unaware tourists here....

This restaurant got recommended by our local grab driver and we loved it! We came here in January (low season) so it was not crowded at all. We were able to choose our fresh seafood from the plastic ponds and they weighed it in front of us, we even saw the lady cutting the fish on the spot (They can make two dishes out of a whole fish: I would recommend "canh chua" (sweet/sour soup) with the head and the rest grilled!). Khuyên m.n đi ăn thì nên hỏi dân địa phương. Mình xem trên tiktok ngày đầu đến đi ăn 1 quán theo bài share trên tiktok mà không ngon bằng ở đây. Hải sản mình vào tận nơi xem, chọn. Về cách chế biến thì bọn mình nghe theo gợi ý của anh nhân viên ở quán. Tôm hùm nướng Phô mai. Đặc biệt ấn tượng với bọn mình là vị phô mai béo ngậy thơm, vị rất đặc biệt. ốc Hương trứng muối thì có 3 loại nước chấm ( muối tiêu, 1 chấm màu xanh và 1 chấm đỏ. Mình thích chấm xanh nhất "rất ngon") Bọ Biển hấp(mình quên k chụp hình): ăn có vị béo, ngọt. Lần đầu tiên mình ăn món này. Rất ngon. Ai chưa ăn thì gợi ý m.n nên thử món này👍👍👍 gỏi cá mai: món này cũng lần đầu mình ăn. Ăn cuốn cùng rau thơm, chuối xanh, cóc. Khá lạ miệng. Mình ăn được cay nên thấy bt. Bạn nào k ăn được cay thì nên cân nhắc vì gỏi trộn vs rất nhiều ớt tươi sò chén, sò dương cảm nhận là sò chén ngon hơn sò dương, thịt mềm. Còn sò dương ăn hơi dai. Tổng kết hết 2tr8 lẻ cho 5món và 2 bia. Ngày cuối du lịch Quy Nhơn gặp ngày mưa mà may mắn được ăn bữa ăn ngon. Đi 2 thì gọi ít lại nha m.n.
