76 BISTRO — Restaurant in Thái Bình

We recently visited “76 Bistrot” during our vacation in Vietnam, and it was absolutely worth the little detour to Thái Bình! As French travelers, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who speaks excellent English and showed incredible generosity.

There were five of us, and we all enjoyed the wagyu beef—it was truly exceptional! The atmosphere was cozy and tastefully designed, making our dining experience even more memorable.

We also tried a French Bordeaux wine, which, although a bit pricier than back home, offered great value for money. We left the restaurant feeling full and happy, with beautiful memories of the evening.

I hadvisited here a few times before and eaten local food and it was always good. On New Year's Eve I wanted something special so decided to go back as I had seen that they also do steak and I was not disappointed. The steak was beautifully cooked and melted in my mouth. I also had some mashed potatoes which were lovely and creamy and were perfectly seasoned. They also have cheese and a good selection of wine and beer The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. While it may not have a traditional beer garden setting, the restaurant gives off a luxurious yet cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions.

The food is outstanding, especially the spiraled German sausage. Every we had dish felt authentic and well-prepared, making it a must-visit for anyone craving German/European cuisine.

One of the biggest surprises was the incredible selection of global grape wines— I think its the largest I’ve seen in all of Thai Binh!
