Black Pan steak restaurant — Restaurant in Vung Tau City

I visited Black Pan Steak in Vũng Tàu, Vietnam, after a long day of exploring, and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in my three years of traveling across Asia. I was starving, so I ordered two meals: sushi and the Hokubee steak. The sushi was fresh and delicious, but the Hokubee steak stole the show—it was, hands down, the best steak I’ve ever had.

It’s rare (no pun intended) to find a restaurant that gets a rare steak cooked perfectly, but Black Pan Steak nailed it. Most places overcook or underseason it, leaving me disappointed and wishing I’d grilled it myself. Not here—the steak was absolutely flawless, so much so that I came back the very next day and ordered two portions.

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Their hospitality was top-notch, which added to the overall amazing experience.

If you’re in Vũng Tàu, you have to stop at Black Pan Steak. The food, service, and atmosphere are truly exceptional. I’m already planning to return a few more times before heading to my next destination....

The quality of the beef or fish is outstanding except the French fries. If they would create it by them self it would be more tasty.

I ate here a rib eye steak which was perfectly grilled and the meat was amazing tender. I ordered as an extra a green paper sauce but I don’t used it for the beef cause that would ruin the quality of the beef.

The pepper sauce was good to dip the French fries inside and definitely create good.

Me personally would wish that a chimichurri were available for the steak but I can understand that is not there concept.

They have a high google rating due to their bribery policy of free food with each review and photo posted :( I would have given 4 stars, but I was bit annoyed that they are using bribery in order to get reviews. You receive a free menu item or drink for every posted review. And of course people are never going to post anything negative when you are getting something for free.
