After Ten — Restaurant in Copperbelt Province

I went to After Ten, after 10:00 pm. Travelled to Kitwe for business. Ordered 2 chicken sharwarmas that were quite spicy. It was there signature sharwarma so they didn't give a choice on what type you wanted. Was K30 for each at the time of writing. In spite of not being a fan of spicy food, I enjoyed this sharwarma. Warmed me up quick.

But, it wasn't worth the wait. It took over 30 minutes to prepare and I am used to waiting at most 15 Minutes for a sharwarma in Lusaka. And I was hungry too. There weren't necessarily a lot of people at the restaurant at 10:00 pm but we were all grumbling about the wait time. To the point were some patrons decided to change their order to one they perceived was faster to make (and sharwarmas have their ingredients ready to go so, imagine switching to a meat pie instead).

The atmosphere though and setting was intriguing as you can see from the pictures. Part carnival, part restaurant and they literally had another restaurant nestled inside their main one. So that was fascinating for me and would be for children.

Good selection of food too. Plenty of seats. Not enough parking though so be ware. Also, parking lot not...

They had Reasonable rates in the past now the rates are at par with any other fast food joints. Still their potion sizes are very generous. That would be the only reason to go here now. Lack of atmosphere and customer care is really damaging to their business. .

One employee saide he can sell anything until the cashier come. And I asked him how long is that going to take and he dosent know. When I offered to wait I was told when the cashier comes he néed to go get the bread so I should not wait.

What was that....Customers don't come to experience your staffs attitudes

Shop was close on my visit at 9am. The security saide it will be open at 9 when I pointed out it is 9am I'm told then it will be open at 10am.

On my call to them they assured they are open now. but the gates and the doors were shut and the tables and chairs were stack up.

What a confusion. Whay don't you update your opening hours and may be pay your employees well so they don't...

Spacious dining area, really nice food, and an acceptable waiting time. This place is pretty cool and the cleanliness of the place isn't half bad.

Could e a good location to dine at after a day's work, or to take friends/family. isn't as fancy a place as pricier restaurants and fast food joints but it is to be expected for the price.

The place lacks wheelchair access a though so that's a disadvantage.

The lavatories are sill under construction and as such they are not as sanitary as I would like them to be, the only consolation i that they do not smell very bad, and neither do they stink from afar, you ought to go trough the door to get their bad odor. They are also very wet, I'm not sure how much of that wetness is Urine and how much is water, but the mere sight of it is unsettling. Here's to hoping that they work on the cleanliness of it.
