1903 Harley Davidson cafe — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

I've been to this restaurant/pub years ago for drinks but never tried their food before.

I do not remember my waitress since this was a while ago but I appreciated her service. Her and the rest of the staff were so helpful and honest enough to tell me when they didn't know something (especially on the food). They were attentive and they were close by each time I needed assistance.

I liked the wooden decor, it would be enjoyed/appreciated a little more by bike fanatics. They played soft music during the day, you can easily carry on with your calls without the noisy background. I was not a fan of the random bike noises that would come in at some point. It was unnecessarily loud and overwhelming.

I had seen a great review before their sushi, so it seemed like something worth taking a shot on.....I did not enjoy the sushi at all, I'd say it was a 4.5/10. They only had tuna for all the sushi that particular day, their soy sauce tasted watered down, and it all just didn't add up. They didn't have a lot of things available on their menu so I decided to try their Crayfish Provincial. It was a tiny portion but it tasted really good. I enjoyed their classic margarita (that is the only thing I would go back for at the moment).

Great space for bike fanatics and football...

My fiancé and I came here for dinner and more than anything we wanted to have a sushi roll.

The ambiance of the place is on the louder side, there was a live band so that compensated for the loudness, it’s was a pretty good experience.

The drinks came in 5 minutes and were ok but the service was truly horrible. I couldn’t stress this enough how disorganized and chaotic the ordering service is.

When ordering drinks the waitress ran away (yes I mean she truly ran) right after hearing the drink we wanted without waiting for the follow up questions we had.

Much-much-much later another waiter came and we tried to order sushi, she wasn’t sure of the portion sizes (the menu doesn’t show portion sizes in gram but few places offer this) so she called on another waiter who came and advised on what to order. We ordered a California roll as it’s fairly simple and would be a good basis to know if the quality of the sushi.

An hour into the order she comes and asks if we are well, we were hungry and anxious but the food never came. An hour and a half later we gave up and decided to ask if they food was ready.

The waiter with a bold face told us we never ordered anything. That we should have double checked with her while we waited.

Imagine yourself a situation one Thursday evening you and your loved one decide to go for a romantic date and have some nice food with some drinks. You come to this restaurant, make an order, patiently wait for your food to come and then in more than an hour you ask why it takes so long for your sushi to come. And the waitress tells you that you never ordered anything. She says she has come to you to ask if you are ok twice and you never told her anything. And obviously you will think what you were supposed to tell her. You made the order and waited for it. Even if she asked you if I you ok, what were you supposed to say.

And obviously this is exactly what happened to me. I can’t explain how upset I was, cause apart from being hungry, all my mood and plan to have a romantic dinner disappeared because of...
