A Thai Treat at Pinnacle Mall: Simply Asia Thai Food & Noodle Bar If you're in search of an authentic, enticing Thai experience, look no further than Simply Asia Thai Food & Noodle Bar at Pinnacle Mall. Not only does this gem offer a vast menu that appeals to all preferences, but it also provides a rich cultural experience that transports you straight to the heart of Thailand. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is undeniably Thai. There's a perfect balance between the modern aesthetics of the mall and the traditional Thai elements, creating an atmosphere that is both comfortable and intriguing. However, it's the culinary journey that makes Simply Asia truly shine. Their selection ranges from classics like Pad Thai and Green Curry to more unique offerings that push the boundaries of typical Thai fare. Every dish I tried was prepared to perfection - bursting with flavors, and showcasing the best of Thai cuisine. The Pad Thai, a dish that can be a true measure of a Thai restaurant, was extraordinary. The noodles were expertly cooked, each strand maintaining its own identity, and the tamarind sauce was just the right blend of tangy and sweet, making each bite an exciting explosion of flavors. Their Green Curry deserves a special mention too. It was fragrantly rich with the perfect amount of heat, complemented by tender pieces of chicken and a selection of fresh vegetables. This was a curry that truly managed to harmonize the complex interplay of flavors Thai cuisine is known for. But let's not forget the pièce de résistance: the Banana Roti dessert. This was simply out of this world. It's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. The roti was soft, slightly crispy on the outside, and the bananas were cooked to perfection, sweet and melt-in-your-mouth. The addition of sweetened condensed milk added a layer of indulgence that made this dessert unforgettable. It's the sort of dessert you continue thinking about long after the last bite. The staff at Simply Asia were genuinely hospitable, attentive, and well-versed in the menu, willing to guide you through your choices. This level of service, combined with the top-notch food, created an overall delightful dining experience. In conclusion, Simply Asia Thai Food & Noodle Bar at Pinnacle Mall is a fantastic culinary destination for both the Thai food novice and the seasoned expert. It offers an immersive experience that goes beyond just the palate, making each visit a memorable adventure in Thai cuisine. It's an oasis of authentic Thai flavors right in the heart of the mall. I recommend it without any reservations. Can't wait for my next visit and another round of that heavenly Banana Roti!

Good (mall type of) restaurant with Thai/Asian cuisine in Lusaka. The restaurant did change its menu from the beginning of July 2022, while most of the prices went up a little bit. It seems its working hours also changed (now 10:30-22:00). But for me, somehow, the food served in the restaurant tastes a little bit better than picked-up or delivered food, no matter if it should be the same, and that is why I prefer to eat there (especially tom yum soup, which spicy version is awesome, but in delivery box taste different). Vegetable and Prawn spring rolls are good. You can also ask how spicy some dishes you want (regular, medium, hot). Portion sizes, maybe, are not as big as someone should expect, but that is usually the same problem with most Asian/Thai places in Lusaka. From time to time, restaurants don't have some of the dishes available, which can be frustrating. Also, sometimes it can take a little bit more time for food to be prepared. Sushi is (just) OK, but I still did not taste the new sushi menu. So, basically, I'm not sure how to rate this place - as average or just a little bit better than average. 3+/4- out of 5 Edit: this place has become an international one. You can enjoy Thai while you are sitting next to an Asian couple and listen (loud) Zambian music. How not to love it...

For a Thai/Asian restaurant, I'd love to understand why it's hard for them to incorporate actual "Thai" noodles to their dishes instead of using the little noodles packs from shoprite. It does take away the enthusiasm to enjoy Asian cuisine if you know what will be served is something you can make at home. A little disappointed considering that this "noodles dish" came highly recommended by their waitress and was meant to be a "seafood" pasta dish. I could count the prawns in the dish, it was dry and honestly couldn't finish it. I did like their sushi, it was a better consolation for the "pasta"(not enough) but better than nothing. My drink was cool and tasty too. Their staff was attentive and friendly. The place itself was clean and I liked their music. NB: The place is alright, a lot of people enjoy their food and service. My appeal is that they actually learn more about Thai/Asian cuisines so that they don't have instances where people might complain about the quality of the supposed cuisines. Something to work on.
