Nandos is a great place to grab lunch, be it you want to sit in (as long as you don't mind music that's in the loud side) or on the go. Depending on how attracted you are to design, we must admit that their colourful menu will definitely catch your tasteful eye and will tempt you not to walk out without grabbing one if their goodies. The meals cater for loners, those sharing and family-size meals. There's an option of pap too for those who love their meal on the traditional side so there's no reason why you can't enjoy Nandos chicken and sides the way you'd imagine it. Service at the till is quite good and quick and the order does take the appropriate amount of time they inform you to prepare (sometimes a little longer depending on what you've ordered. Ours took longer because we had two batches of chicken prepared differently and an assortment of other smaller sides too). While I can say that the menu has an interesting range of foods and flavours for a place that prepares and serves only chicken as it's meat, feel free to choose from four flavours namely lemon and herb, mild, hot and very hot as indicated on the "peri-o-meter" (see on menu). There's also a range of soft drinks and bottled water to select from. Should you like to have extra sauce, why not purchase your favourite one or one to try out? It's right there behind the counter.
Nandos has, in my opinion, the best packaging for their food. Classic khaki paper with beautiful inscriptions which are a reminder to recycle ♻ the packaging so it's definitely environmentally-friendly. Of all that we ordered, our personal favourite were the fiesta fries (with some onion rings, pulled chicken, generous cheese sauce and garnished with parsley) and their wings (flavour of choice and we chose mild). It came in a large khaki bag with some catchy captions too and we'd recommend you check and ask for extras(serviettes, ketchup, toothpicks) in your bag if they've forgotten to add them(these people work hard). We were disappointed that as at this date they don't yet have the take out version of their ginger fizz and blueberry milkshakes. The options are that you either sit in for one or bring your own cup so they prepare one for you in there so we hope that soon the grab-on-the-go version...

The restaurant itself is spacious, offering a mix of booths and chairs, with plenty of seating available. Clean bathrooms and an abundance of Nando’s signature sauces added to the convenience and comfort.
Menu & Pricing: Nando’s in Zimbabwe features a slightly different menu than in other countries, which is worth exploring. Prices are very reasonable: • Chicken Boujee Bowl – $5.50 • Chicken Wraps – $5.00 each • Single Tropical Sunset (drink) – $2.50
Food Quality: The Chicken Wrap stood out as the highlight—well-portioned, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Boujee Bowl, however, was underwhelming, with bland rice and a smaller portion size than expected. The Tropical Sunset drink was refreshing, beautifully presented, and a perfect complement to the meal.
Overall: Nando’s Jason Moyo delivers exactly what you expect from the brand: tasty food, friendly staff, and a clean, welcoming environment. While not every dish was a hit, the wraps and drinks made up for it, and the value for money was excellent. A reliable spot for a satisfying meal...
Read more"Dear Nando's Management,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your Bulawayo location on October 3rd 2024.
After arriving from the airport with a friend, we decided to grab dinner at Nando's at 19:20. We placed our order for sitting, but despite waiting from 19:30 to 20:47, our food was not served. When I inquired about my order, I was told it was ready for take-away, not for sitting as requested.
The cashier's attitude was rude and unhelpful. I requested to speak with the manager, who seemed more concerned with getting me to take the food than addressing the issues I raised. I refused to accept the food and expressed my concerns about the potential risks of food poisoning.
I was appalled by the lack of customer care, respect, and morals displayed by the cashiers and even the manager. It seemed as though they viewed customers as a nuisance rather than valued patrons.
I hope you will take my complaint seriously and take immediate action to address the issues I've raised. I expect a higher standard of service from Nando's, especially...
