First and foremost, the staff at Indoor Oasis are phenomenal hosts and guides. We had no clue what we were doing, but Ms. Abby was just as amazing in person as she was in helping me coordinate the day over the phone the week before. She has an incredibly gentle, calming and reassuring presence that created a safe and inviting space. She really framed the entire experience for us and made everything so easy that we didn't have to think about anything...and when we were confused about anything...she was there with a warm understanding greeting and ushered us along in our spa day.
Indoor Oasis totally hit the spot for the best way to kick off my fiancee' and I's anniversary and the start to our vacation week. With crazy busy careers we both have a hard time slowing down, and when we do it's not that easy to just "chill". We purchased the deluxe spa package for two. The price was right!!
We started our morning off at 10:30 in their wild zero gravity massage chair - this is nothing that you have ever experienced. It was fun and a great way to shift the energy and enjoy each other through the experience. From there we spent another 20 minutes focused on our breath in the Halo Himalayan Salt room. It was a very gentle detoxing process that left a yummy, slightly salty taste on our lips. From there we shuttled off to the infra-red sauna were we got to sweat out impurities and any moodiness at 144 degrees under chromatographic lighting. Very cool!
Lastly - but honestly the most transformative part of the experience - was the deprivation tanks. Amazing 90 minutes of my life! We were so Zen-ed out we floated out of the door and into the city for dinner.
It could not have been a better week to kick off our vacation. We will...
Read moreUnbelievably amazing experience!! Actually mad, haha..at my brother for keeping this gem to himself for so long! I purchased a package for my brother and I to celebrate our birthdays and was so impressed with this spa!! It’s hidden, so keep looking, in a brick complex! So worth the drive from Marshfield. We decided on this spa because of the options here to choose from. Both in our 50’s, dealing with work, family and regular stresses of life, we both felt so revitalized and relaxed! Having had a spinal fusion at the beginning of May, I left pain free for the first time in months!! We started with a unbelievable massage in these 4 D pod chairs that I wish I could bring home! You first think they will be like the ones in malls, but no, not even in the same ballpark! We then went into the infrared sauna with chroma therapy and Felt completely detoxed afterwards. After the sauna we went into the halo therapy salt room and practiced the relaxing breathing techniques supplied. Most anticipated was the float therapy, or sensory reduction. Oh my!!! 90 minutes of a pain free outer body experience!! Awake, but more of a subconscious alert state! Has to be experienced, I just really can’t put it into words. I’m already booking another session. What is being pain free worth?...
Read moreOverall, I really like this place. It's a nice space, the staff is friendly and the prices are fair. I've been twice. The first time, we did a package that included 4 different things, and it was great. On my most recent visit, my husband and I did only the infra-red sauna. After 40 minutes, we were (of course!) dripping sweat. We asked a staff member where the showers were only to be told we would have only had access to a shower if we did the float tank. This seems like a very important thing to let people know ahead of time. We had plans to go to a restaurant afterward that had to be canceled. Understandable if the logistics of the space don't allow for showers, but I think it should be made clear upon booking. I've been to many infrared saunas and have never encountered not having access to a shower. Perhaps provide at least some wet towels or wipes or something to help freshen up? We also were not given robes this time around. We didn't encounter the shower issue the first time we went because we did a package that included the float tank which has a shower in the room. Anyway, overall it's a nice place with a friendly staff. I will definitely go back, but think people should be aware that unless they float, there's no access...
