We definitely recommend to choose this beach instead of many others closer to city centre and Main Street. It is not too crowded and very quiet.
The walk to the beach from centre is like 10-15min, you also have a free parking there, road is covered in rocks but 2wd can manage to get there. Parking is not so beautiful and of course trash everywhere but it’s free and very close to the beach. We went there for 2 days and there was always parking available. Sun beds are 5-15 eur depending on time of the day and year. We went in August and it was 10 eur / 1000lek for 2 beds and umbrella for whole day. In other beaches it is 20- 25 eur and also the guys in other beaches are not friendly and tent to remind you that it’s “private” and you can’t even sit in peace for 5min
The Last Bay Beach is covered in rocks, if you have - bring swimming shoes. Many little fish and clear water. Good for snorkeling, a...
Read moreWe paid 15 euros for two sunbeds in front row. They were very dirty. But the real issue is the enormous patch of plastic and metal garbage on the sea bed in the whole bay. The water looks clear but the sea is in terrible shape! If you happen to have snorkelling equipment, you will be surprised to see what humans are capable of when it comes to destruction. Avoid whole Ksamil. The place needs to get its act together. Badly developing, asphalt, concrete, cars, grabage and mostly plastic is all you see. No single public beach, too loud, all beaches are so packed with sunbeds you cannot even move around. Since you have to pay ridicuolous ampunts for using beaches, you are stuck (or you don't care about money,.then it's fine i suppose) Because of lack of public transport, everyone moves around by car and cars are everywhere, no space left for anything. I wish I read honest reviews before booking...
Read moreGreat little beach, friendly folks, not crowded and relatively cheap.
When we arrived to Ksamil naturally we went to Lori beach, but turned around cause it was so crowded you couldn’t even see the beach.
If you continue down the road you will reach „The Last Bay“. It is a little bit of a walk and if you go by car it’s a very bumpy ride. We managed though in a Renaut Clio and at the beach you’ll find a few parking spots in the shade.
We were there in the first September week and it was not crowded at all, maximum 50% of beds were taken.
The sundbeds are 500 Lek for a day (2 beds and umbrella). Beer and ice cream are 150 Lek (each).
You can also get some extra shade from the big trees behind it (sun only started hitting us around 11.30-12).
The beach is not sandy, but very clean. They even clean the seaweed of the shore. The water is quite calm as the bay is protected...
