Bella Vista Ksamil(Beach lounge) — Restaurant in Bashkia Sarandë

we've just arrived to Albania this was the first beach we attended , however we didnt know here in Albania most of the beaches are private and you have to pay for sunbeds ,we just put down our towels and ran in the water . ( it was after 7 pm I think there were maybe 10 people around us only one sunbed was occupied ) were happy to take our first swim in our first evening .. the sunset was just perfect and everything beautiful . after 20 mins of swimming we came out and noticed there is an old man staying on our towels and yelling to us "this is a private beach , go away ". He was very rude and drunk didnt know if he wanna start a fight or what ... We didnt noticed if there was any sign of there is a private beach ,didnt know the policy of local people however after this we could also find many places where we could put down our towels without disturbing others .. maybe if he approached differently I would pay for sunbeds or order some drinks or whatever ... I dont recommend this place . Like he said " You can go to the right or to the left but go away . you can not stay here ! " Enjoy your stay anywhere else in...

This was sadly the worst meal we’ve had in Albania. Chicken ceases salad, octopus, and a shrimp linguine. There were 5 tiny pieces of chicken in the salad. The Chicken that was present was rock hard it could bounce off a wall - stale and old in my salad Octopus was either frozen and defrosted- it was dry looking and very very chewy but the waiter kept insisting it was fresh. I would absolutely not let my husband pay for that- so we advised him. Reluctantly he took it and brought out a new piece which was like night and day. The new piece was soft and fresh. The salad I ordered was smothered in mayonnaise- see picture. Prawns were generous in the pasta- but it completely lacked flavour and character The sunset was the only nice thing and one staff who actually smiled twice- more than I’ve seen any Albanian smile.
