We went for lunch around 4:30 p.m. We ordered grilled vegetables for one person to have with our meal, but instead they brought us two plates of low-quality rice with vegetables. When we said this was not our order, the waiter insisted that it was and even told us that if we didn’t accept it, he would have to pay for it himself. Each plate was about €8.
We told him that even if there was a mistake, we had only ordered one, not two. They took one plate away but left the other on the table. When it came time to pay, we noticed that they had charged us for both plates (about €16). After we complained, the waiter reluctantly crossed one off the bill, but we still had to pay for one plate we never ordered.
During payment, the waiter ignored us and didn’t bring the card machine until his boss told him to. We didn’t leave any tip because they had tried to add an extra €8 to our bill. The waiters were very rude and showed no customer service at all.
Update:
Your reply is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. If you really wanted to prove that the problem was on our side, you should have shown us the camera footage right there at the restaurant, not mention it later online.
Also, mocking customers about their English skills and telling them to “give a star to their teacher” is simply rude and unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to value its guests.
For your information, I own an Instagram page with over 2 million followers, and I will definitely share this experience there. People deserve to know how you treat your customers when they give honest feedback.
Instead of insulting guests, a professional restaurant would take reviews as an opportunity to improve. Unfortunately, your answer only confirms my original review.
We rented two chairs and an umbrella in front of the restaurant. The sea area right where our chairs were reserved was full of trash not only people’s garbage like chip bags and papers, but also pieces of wood and even diesel stains.
I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant or this place. We come from Germany, and 20–30 euros is not a big deal for us, but the unprofessional attitude here is enough reason for us never to return.
Today I will share my experience on Instagram with my million-plus followers, so others know exactly what kind of service and environment to...
Read moreI spent an entire day at Kamay Beach in Ksamil, paying for a sunbed and umbrella and consuming food and drinks throughout the day from the Bar. When it was time for lunch, I went to the RESTAURANT, which was almost empty. I chose a table by the window for its beautiful view and breeze.
However, the waiter rudely asked me to leave the table, claiming it was for 4 people, even though the place was nearly empty and there were other tables for four occupied by just one person or a couple. To me, the only explanation for this behavior is racism.
I complained to the management, but they ignored me. It was my birthday, and they ruined my day. I will never return to this place and do not recommend it to anyone.
EDIT:
I made an edit because was not possible to respond directly. It seems the establishment didn't take the time to understand the situation and chose to attack the customer instead. This only confirms that leaving was the right decision. I didn’t contradict myself, I was on your beach, drinking at the bar, using the beach service and the issue happened when I went to the restaurant for lunch, as I clearly mentioned. Not only did I leave, but other Brazilians also chose to go elsewhere after that. If you prefer to attack customers rather than acknowledge your mistake and seek improvement, I feel sorry for you. My money is...
Read morePoor customer service and a clear lack of understanding of customer satisfaction. We placed an order for three people at 2:10 PM and were not served until 3:00 PM. One person didn’t even receive their full order. These were simple dishes — nothing that should require such a delay.
The issue here goes beyond slow service — it’s a matter of poor organization and a total lack of prioritization. Orders should be served in the order they are placed. Serving customers who arrived after us first shows a complete lack of structure and fairness.
To make things worse, we were charged for a dish that was never properly served. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s plain disrespectful. And that’s a shame, because the restaurant has a beautiful setting with a gorgeous sea view — something truly worth highlighting. But such a view deserves service that matches its quality.
Let’s be clear: customer satisfaction is not a bonus — it’s the foundation of your business. When a guest chooses your restaurant, they are trusting you with their time, money, and experience. That trust must be earned — through efficiency, fairness, and the most basic respect. Failing to deliver on these essential principles doesn’t just harm your reputation — it drives customers...
