I recently spent a wonderful afternoon at Alexandra Recreation Ground and was pleasantly surprised by all it had to offer. It's a fantastic spot for anyone looking for a dog-friendly park with a mix of activities and natural beauty. Dog-Friendly Paradise: My dog had an absolute blast running around off-leash and socializing with other pups. There's plenty of open space for them to explore and even a designated fenced-in area for smaller or less social dogs. Football Fun: It was great to see the park being used for football training. The pitches looked well-maintained and it added a lively atmosphere to the park. Wildlife Haven: Despite being close to residential areas, the park feels surprisingly wild. We spotted several different bird species and even a few squirrels. It's a lovely reminder of nature within the city.
