Bodega La Vigilia — Attraction in Mendoza

Situated in a stunning location in the Uco Valley, the architecture of Bodega La Vigilia is equally beautiful: sleek, modern, and tranquil. We arrived for a tour and tasting, for which you will need a reservation to get past the guard at the front gate. Once inside, the friendly staff quickly take you on a fascinating tour. Our guide was quite knowledgeable, although we sometimes had difficulty following her English... our fault for knowing little Spanish. The tasting was conducted in a beautiful room looking out to a vineyard that seemed to stretch all the way to the Andes. The wine itself was excellent and accompanied by a selection of cheeses. Restaurant Rope is located on the Bodega La Vigilia Vineyard. Although it was a little difficult to get into the restaurant at first since the door was locked, we ended up going to the opposite building to obtain some help. Everything was smooth after that. Lunch over looking the vineyard was beautiful! The service was very good, staff was friendly and I have no complaints. The amuse-bouche was delicious.
