And from there, we can observe one of the most impressive views of Nahuel Huapi National Park and the planet. This is stated by the National Geographic photographers who have been here. The ascent to this hill can be done by walking or by means of chairlifts. The view from the summit is spectacular, and many people agree that it is one of the best in Bariloche and even in the world. There is also a confectionery where you can enjoy cooking and homemade pastries.
For those who want to walk for a while, climbing on foot is a good option. The hill is not very high (the summit is about 1050 meters above sea level) and although it climbs permanently, it is at the summit in about 30 minutes. You can see the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, El Trébol lagoon, San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas, Victoria Island, Otto, López, Goye, Bellavista, Catedral, Capilla hills; the Llao Llao hotel, the groves of Colonia Suiza, among other points of interest. To get to Cerro Campanario, from the center of San Carlos de Bariloche, take Av. Bustillo until kilometer 17.5, where there is access to the hill and parking.
