Fabulous exhibit. Presentation- sadly out of the 90's. Embarrassed that astronauts had been subjected to this unprofessional vocal accompaniment. The cartoon should be discarded. It was terrible. I kept that to myself until my 6 year old, who adores 'shows' thought it boring. Shocking stuff. Apart from that, quite informative and educational. The support staff were pleasant and helpful. We will go again next year if we can be assured that someone who can present well will be explaining the celestial wonders. Read moreI highly reccomend going to the Planetarium. It's fun for famikies of all ages. The night sky presentation is fun, engaging and informative. Then afterwards a movie is shown. All the movies available for each different session are great and they each suit different age groups which is great if you have little ones as they have a movie called Tyco to the Moon which is very popular. My family has been attending the Planetarium for the last 11 years and it doea not ever get boring. And, we have seen all the different movies. Read moreUnfortunately, my time at the Adelaide Planetarium was poor. The lady astronomer was rude. Also, she said using phones and taking photos were not allowed, which is fine, BUT she blatantly ignored the fact that one customer at the event was taking photos of the session on their phone the entire time. I wouldn't have cared about it had the person taking the photos kept their ringer on silent, but instead, every 2 minutes, loud clicks were going off from their photo taking, which really ruined the experience.
