We spent a couple of weeks at Quest Mawson Lakes as a family of four (the booking was arranged through my husband’s company). We were very pleased with the accommodation.||||The location couldn’t be better – right across from the UniSA campus, close to a main road, and with a bus stop right outside the door. Shops and restaurants are just a short walk away: Woolworths, Aldi, BWS, pharmacy, bakery, cafés… everything you need. For the kids, there are playgrounds nearby, ducks to feed in “The Bridges” neighborhood, and even an indoor play centre within walking distance.||||The property itself is very well thought out. The reception area is small but more than sufficient, with free self-serve coffee and a wall full of brochures on activities like Barossa Valley wine tours, wildlife parks, dolphin cruises, and outlet shopping near the airport. At the back, there’s a secure parking lot for hotel guests. Fitness lovers will appreciate the large, modern gym with lots of equipment – no need to pay for an extra gym membership.||||Our apartment was spacious enough for the whole family, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living/dining area, so everyone had their own space. It was also very practical: we had a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron right in the apartment, which made our stay even more comfortable. Since most of the apartment was carpeted (except for the kitchen area), having a small vacuum cleaner available would have been helpful – but that’s really just a minor suggestion. A special highlight was the shared barbecue terrace, which we used regularly and really enjoyed.||||Finally, the staff deserve special mention – from the reception team to housekeeping and maintenance, everyone was unfailingly friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile, which really showed what a great team they are. We felt truly welcome throughout our stay.||||We had a wonderful time at Quest Mawson Lakes and will definitely drop by to say hello when we return to the area. Highly...
Read moreHad been staying at the quest Mawson lakes for 1 week. Loved majority of my stay there. Upon my arrival staff member asked what brings you to quest Mawson lakes today. I notified him that I had just returned from over state and was planning to self isolate. He said he’ll notify the room service to not service the room where I was staying which I said was a good idea. Now fast forward on the 1st of August the police came to check up on me, than I had called the police and sorted the issue out with them. Now on the 3rd I go downstairs to do my usual booking for another night. I payed and got my keys renewed and went back to my room. I got a call and a rudeeee, greedy, and discriminative staff Member called my room. Started questioning me about my personal life and threatened to kick me out if I didn’t pay for a whole new week at once, which was not convenient for me. Now this staff member was very rude and was questioning me like he was a police officer investigating a murder and like he had the right to accuse and threaten me. And when my partner decided it wasn’t acceptable the way the staff member was treating me he asked me to tell them we will check out and than the staff member said now I’d definitely like for you guys to get out and said I can handle your husband if you like. My partner and I called the Police and arranged another hotel to move into....
Read moreI stayed here for 4 night with my 3 kids after my house burnt down. You were already aware of this as my insurance advised you of the situation. I was welcomed with a bar of soap, one shampoo & one conditioner. This wasn’t enough to even give myself a bath yet alone 3 kids. There was no washing powder, no detergent and the washing machine smelt so bad. I rang the reception and they got me 2 little sachets of washing powder. I ended up buying my own as they didn’t bother to restock for days. 2 days went past no cleaning services came to my room, when I questioned this they dropped off a vacuum cleaner in my room to do it myself. The noise was extremely loud! The sink was blocked so I had to brush my teeth in the bath. & to top it all off my bond was taken from me as my kids left few texta marks on the furniture. Knowing that’s my last money I had left, they did not bother to call me & let me know as I checked out at 9am! I even rang crying asking to please let me come up and clean it as I had all the cleaning products but the manager refused. && that my friend costs you $521 a night!!!
I’ve stayed in many hotels but this by far has to be the worst one! I wouldn’t even stay here again if I was homeless! I was in a mentally bad place but you guy have made me feel so worthless and my kids were hungry for the whole week due to you...
