I’ve been coming to this cafe occasionally for about a year. The BLT is always spot in; very delicious. The coffee can be hit or miss at times; sometimes it’s decent, other times it tastes a bit burnt. I ordered a cheesecake slice about 2 months ago and it was as dry as the Sahara; had evidently been sitting in the fridge for at least a week, possibly longer. It was awful.

I got a take away breakfast this morning, a breakfast wrap and the pancakes. The breakfast wrap was terribly constructed and it immediately fell apart; you should really consider how people will eat items when they’re purchasing them take away. Very impractically constructed and with little care.

The pancakes were okay, a bit stodgy and the cream had curdled.

What a wonderful little cafe. The service is outstanding, spoken to as soon as I entered and my order was taken a minute later with a smile. When the food arrived after a quite acceptable waiting time it was delicious. It was well seasoned well cooked and piping hot, there was even a little tub of butter ( yes butter not margarine 😊) for my sourdough toast which was a lovely surprise. I also watched as every table was cleared within a minute of customers leaving and cups were taken away as soon as they were finished. The exceptional customer service with great communication and Eye contact made the whole experience one that I intend to repeat in the near future.
