Monalta Drive Playground — Attraction in Adelaide

Good spread of activities for kids of different ages, including flying fox and sand pit (with bucket and spades etc). The reserve is very large with a huge grassed area for ball games. Has 2 separate picnic tables as well as a bin and dog bags. Note that there is no fencing, but we don't find that a concern given the size and distance 2 of the roads are from the play area (with another side being housing). There is also no BBQ...

Love this playground, with the exception of how difficult it is for toddlers to get up the slide - it's near impossible for any child under 2, and means the parents have to constantly help. Poorly thought out. Could do with a bit more equipment, but it's heartening to see the increased donations of toys for the sandpit, which keeps kids...

Seems like a nice little reserve, swings, flying fox, sandpit full of dump trucks and other toys which appear to be popular with locals. Hope that those who do walk their dogs here keep them on a short lead for the little...
