First time here after being recommended by a close friend. Absolutely won over by this place. Nestled in beautiful Adelaide hills, the old building oozes homely comfort. Coming inside you’d be hugged by the aroma of spices. The warm lights and quiet buzzing of conversations make you relax and it’s like slipping into an easy dream. Could only order two dishes for the two of us from a mouthwatering menu, but before we finished them we were already planning more trips. The twin boys who served at the counter made you feel like they were your family, with that no-stress and pleasant friendliness. The food. And yes the food IS sooo yummy. Honest family meals prepared with care, so well balanced and tasty. Did I say tasty. The chicken in the chicken biryani was super juicy and tender. The rice had the perfect amount of browned crispness. The little bit of heat in it gave it the perfect kick, and even those who wouldn’t be keen on chilli would have no issues to handle it. The goat masala was again packed with flavours. The meat was so tender and juicy, and you can tell it’s the result of long and careful cooking. Better make booking because the place fills up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. Overall a very pleasant experience and strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in authentic Indian food.

We had dinner tonight at this incredible Indian restaurant and were absolutely blown away by the food and service. We tried the Paneer Makhni, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, and a few other dishes—each one was packed with rich, authentic flavours. The spices were perfectly balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the in-house desserts made by the chef were a delightful surprise—unique and delicious! Honestly, this is the best Indian food I’ve had in Adelaide so far. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a true taste of India!

We have been going here since 2020 with take away and dining in. Overall it has been a consistent experience, and we love dining in with the chef special hot clay pots that come out with sizzling and delicious curries like the paneer. The food can be made spicy which I like. It is a family business and they are always very caring about the customer experience. I especially like that if i want takeaway, I come as soon as they open with my own clean Pyrex containers to avoid using more plastic takeaway tubs. Thanks for a yummy plastic free takeaway tonight. Everything was perfect. We will be back

IF YOU ASK FOR NO SPICE BECAUSE OF A MEDICAL CONDITION, THE BUTTER CHICKEN IS STILL SPICY. I specifically called ahead of time to make sure that the butter chicken would for sure have no spicy ingredients in it as many people I know have raved about it, so I obviously wanted to try it out myself. The guy who answered the phone on Oct. 11, 2025 at 5:10pm told me that the dish wouldn't be spicy and that it was a sweet dish more than anything, and yeah, it was sweet but considering I cannot have spicy food due to a medical condition, when I am told that something isn't spicy, I'm assuming that the food I'm going to get is actually going to be edible for me, but I was wrong. Instantly, when I ate the curry, it was spicy, not much, but any amount of spice is inedible for me due to my condition, so that was extremely disappointing as I was expecting my dish to be as it was described. Now, if the dish is made with one spice level and can't be altered, I understand that, I would've just liked to know that there would be a spicy ingredients in it, as in the past, I have gone to many other Indian restaurants and was able to get 100% non spicy curries as they customized the spice level per order or bulk batch. For the sake of anyone else ordering in the future, I would just hope that the workers could understand the ingredients of the food more so they could correctly inform customers if they will even be able to eat the food they...

I have been in Australia for 20yrs, and have yearned for a delicious, authentic, indian meal experience.

Well its been worth the wait!!!!!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! The depth of flavour, meat to sauce ratio, consistency of sauces, naan breads that are so fluffy and crammed with filling and flavour, and did I mention the Samosa's? OMG they literally melt in the mouth!!!!

This restaurant not only delivers delicious authentic cuisine - but the friendliest, and most helful 'front of house' staff!! With recommendations, depth of knowledge regarding dishes on the menu - you can sit back and simply enjoy the experience🙌🙌🤩

We cannot wait to return with family and friends alike!

Even if you live some distance to Belair, dont despair..........its well worth the effort to drive the distance! I can guarantee you will NOT be disapointed🙌🙌

We drove from Mount Barker and would do it...
