Oaklands Recreation Plaza — Attraction in Adelaide

The Plaza is only a small area with a very small carpark but it is packed with things to do for kids of all ages. From the energetic Skate park to the leisurely picnic table and bonus there is a Public toilet. But as someone who walks here it also serves as an entrance to the much larger reserves the Wetlands and the Estate. I don't skate or ride anymore but I do love rc toys and this place is great! Perfect for beginners on a board or bmx and the back corner kind of bowl section is really cool. So many options of lines for the more experienced. I try and go during quiet times as I'm just bashing rc buggies these days. If you bring your children here. Control them please. Other people do go to this skatepark to actually skate and ride for practice and have fun. We’re not trying to get cut in front of and falling off because of young children. Yeah we’ve all been children and loved to run a muck but damn it’s not fun to be in the middle of it.
