If anyone ever considers going to West Beach Mini Golf DO NOT GO! I’d be writing this review on their page, but alas.. they have it set up that you can’t write on it.. funny that!

In short, me and my bro just took 5 kids there, as I had a voucher that expires in Jan 2024.

Went to front desk, the guy accused us in front of kids, that it was a fraudulent voucher. Saying they don’t use that type anymore. Admitting, they’ve changed them and USED to have these one (identical logo by the way). I respectfully said that it’s unfair, given we were provided a voucher and still within use by, so he permitted us to play.

We’re on hole 2 and he approached us saying that we were to stop immediately and cannot continue as he just phoned his manager and manager said same thing. Questioning our integrity and that it was fake. These poor kids.

I asked to please call the manager as I’d like to talk to him. The guy called the MANAGER and spoke for 7 mins. Then came to me and says, sorry the manager won’t speak to you as he’s super busy.

This employee then had the nerve to continue accusing us extremely rudely of making the voucher ourselves!

Then says (I quote) come on guys, it’s $50, that’s nothing. Just pay.

Then also looks at 2 of the kids who are crying, looks them in the eye, pulling a horrible face, and says to CHILDREN - “and you’re crying over mini golf”. Disgusting.

I’m absolutely appalled, kids devastated, and will take it further. But word of mouth is often the best thing, so people need to know what just took place.

Well done West Beach...

This place used to hold a special place in my heart as my now fiancé and I had a first date here. We won’t ever be returning after the treatment given to our family members today.

Appalling behaviour from management and staff, including the intimidation towards the children. Absolutely horrible. AVOID...

A great place to catch up with your friends, suitable for kids party.

Upon arrival at 10am in the morning on a Saturday, there were some people already. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and helped us to take group photos too. She told us the time for each kind of options written on the board according to the number of people we had. We had around 9 people, and there were 3 options. According to the time she told us, we chose the 24 holes instead of 18 holes. (can't remember exact numbers, so it might not be accurate) 24 holes is $20, 18 holes is $14. So after 18 holes we ran out of time already, and each of us lost $6 in our group as we couldn't finish the rest.

A suggestion: remember if you don't have sufficient time, don't choose 24 holes if you have a big group.

Overall good environment, nice atmosphere, good facilities and it was fun to play....

We love this place and it’s had a bit of a face lift since our last visit. New toilets and the course has a new look. Nothing extreme though it’s the same just each hole has been sponsored and has some new blue rough areas, to avoid! It’s cheaper than the one at Victor Harbour too. $30 for three which I think is pretty good value. We had 2 ice poles and a vanilla cup after and that was only $5.40. They now have a license and you can but premised drinks and beer. And since they close at 10pm that sounds like a fun night out! Easy plentiful parking and lots of other things to do nearby, even the Big slides right opposite for the rest of the summer and the aerial walking thing. There’s plenty of shady areas and some holes have seats. It’s not wheelchair friendly.

Not Disability Friendly.. Both in facilities and the course. Walkers & frames need to be lifted over cement edging and a few courses have obstacles which take up almost all of the hole. Need to step off and edge around these. The courses themselves were very interesting.. A wide variety of obstacles. Friendly staff, but the kiosk looks like it needs a proper clean. Coffee machine wasn't working. Toilets not accessible to the disabled. Apart from this our group enjoyed playing mini-golf.
