Neat, clean and plenty of parking. Misses out on a 5 star rating because it has a "messy" and rabbit warren carpark (tight in places, weird angles), worse than that is the monstrosity IN the carpark. I am referring to a selection of stone statues surrounded by an ugly security fence. This isn't part of a store. Apparently this is supposed to be a feature... epic fail.

It is getting a lot worse with plenty of vacant shops, it's almost a ghost shopping centre. Also most of the shops are closed on Sunday. Could it be high shop renting from greedy owners? They need to pick up the feet and improve their business.

The nearest store, it does have Aldi and subway. A weird compo but nice for a little shopping and dining. Check out for the offer notices and be there at sharp 8:30 to get the best deals.

The shopping centre has gone to the pack, cheap as chips has gone as well now. Butcher changed hands. The whole centre smells of rotten fish guts. They put a fresh fish shop in the centre, which is not set up to be a fresh fish shop when it comes to cleaning fish, drainage and the guts, heads etc go in a wheelie bin and sits there. All you want to do whilst in the centre is dry reach it is that bad. The owner of Woodcroft shopping town is so greedy with his rents everyone leaves. Drake prices have gone ridiculously over priced. You would not want to sit in any of the inside meal places to eat because you would be dry reaching from the bad smell throughout the centre. That fish shop will send other shop owners broke. Shopping at Southgate now like a lot of people....

My first few visits here were brilliant, the quality of the meals were worth the 5 stars.

However the visit recently wasn't the best, the entrees which are normally top notch, but these ones were so overcooked the pork was dry that the transition to charcoal wasn't far from occurring, and don't get me started on the crackle that was so hard two of the people in our party made similar comments about breaking teeth.

Our last couple of visits since the menu change has occurred have been quite underwhelming with food left on plates.

So we will be skipping this place for a while to see if they can have their rating returned to the original 5 stars I previously...

We have only ever been to Aldi shop for a few items on.2 occasion's. We have friends who live across the main road from the shops, they do some of their shopping at the shopping centre, they're regular's, they have been across the road forever. They owned all the land there at one stage, engaged a developer, and sold the house blocks off to people wanting a house and land deal, and created suburbs across from the shops. Infact their development may have been there first, therefore creating a need for the shopping centre. This family live across in the old fsrm house, keep horses, and still do on the land they've kept. Race horses and harness horses,...
