Went for dinner with my Nana ordered snitz palmy and my nana had fish and chips! My snitz was overly cooked very chewy! My Nanas fish was undercooked! Parts were cooked through but then other parts well under cooked! She went home few hours later she ended up extremely crook worse thing that was all she ate for the day! One of the waitresses tried to clear the plates off our table she dropped the plate it smashed onto my foot! She just walked off some other waitress came with dust pan and broom swept up abit of glass and took off! There was still a lot of glass everywhere! I was more concerned with little kids running around no shoes on! Another young waitress was walking around so I asked her if she could clear all the glass off the floor she picked it up with her bare hands! Walked off! She came back and I gave her a spray wasn’t happy I told her why would you pick it up bare hands and she said we do it all the time! She was nasty to me and my nana! Very rude! I told her there was still fine glass everywhere and she said where blinde as a bat 🦇! I showed her where and I asked to speak to the manager she was nasty saying oh the manager was busy I said get them so she went over talking to the manager! Nana and I walked off in a huff and manager followed us stopping us and I told him what happened ect! He stating the girl is never allowed to pick glass up bare hands the way she spoke was shocking and disgusting! She should be given the flick as telling my nana and I she can pick glass up bare hands! Very wrong especially when kids are looking at what she was doing! Never have we ever had any problems eating here previously as usually meals were always lovely but last night the meals seemed to be rushed! Came out within 5 mins we’ll less to be exact I got my salad from vege bar and came back to our meals being Brought to us! Snitz was the size you expect to give a little child extremely small and taste was shocking extremely tough chewy to eat! Nanas fish was under cooked! Salad bar was very average our meals were mild warm more on the cold side! Not hot or fresh! If you go to this place I hope you all never experience the rude staff we encountered or the poor service that we got! Will never go back here again after we been going here for many years without an issue but new looking staff lastnight the way they spoke and the poor service we will...

There are so many things I love and things I just hate about this pub. This is my local and ive been reasonably regular for years. At least twice a month we eat dinner there, regularly catch up for drinks. The WORST thing about this pub is the inconsistency! When they're hot they are amazing and when theyre not its infuriating. Tonight I had there beef fillet special medium rare it was overcooked and so chewy I had to spit it out the jus tasted of burn which had gone through everything I didn't even eat a quarter. Last week I was there for dinner had the pork belly and everyone was impressed when it came out it was delish. Ive had the steak sandwich special multiple times its different everytime. I had the Memphis bird pizza one night they forgot the sauce on top I took it up to the bar to get the spicy sauce added and got the stink eye the whole walk to the bar for daring to take it back. But then I've been to their Hently Farm dinner which was perfection. We've asked for entrees to come out with mains as its someone's mains and they do it separately anyway. Please take some consistent pride in your food! And please be open to constructive criticism and resolving complaints. Im sure if you received an order anywhere else that was missing items or not what was ordered you would want it resolved well so do your customers. There are some great staff and loads of experience that really make the place but there are some staff who openly show that the customers...

We have eaten here a few times since the renovations and have been very happy with the food and service, we dined with friends on Sat 14/5 and again very enjoyable and I like the choice of gluten free meals. However we dined again on Sunday evening 15/5 and I chose the roast beef as my gluten free option and specified to the girl taking the order that it had to be gluten free and we had a chat about the G/F menu but either through a mix up with the chef or the waiting staff my meal in the end was not gluten free, tasted and looked like it would be but within 2 hours of eating it I became very ill and with the usual symptoms from having gluten and today (Thursday) is the first day that I have felt myself again! Restaurants need to be very careful when dealing with orders for gluten free meals as unfortunately for me it's not a lifestyle choice I am a coeliac sufferer and it takes me 4/5 days to feel well again, I did contact the hotel to let them know and for them to reiterate with the staff the importance of getting orders out correctly but unfortunately I have yet to hear back from them, very...

The schnitzel is great and the staff were quite accommodating even though it was on of their first night opening since Covid19. Overall the food and wine options were very good, my only (very small) critique would be the sauce portions for schnitzel are tiny in comparison to all other restaurants I have dined in at. Although delicious, I would improve my rating from a 4 to a 5 if the sauce size was approximately 2-3x the size as it would not be enough if I had not ordered the parmi topping aswell. Additionally, the Nutella cheescake with banana cream and honeycomb was DIVINE. This is not on the regular menu, but a wonderful surprise. Looking forward to my next visit.

We come here for quiz on a Monday night which is run by a couple of lovely guys and always good fun. The staff are also very friendly. The meals, the last couple ive had have been great, which I've been happy about and my friends too as previously when we first started coming could be a bit hit and miss. Maybe a different chef. Glad and fingers crossed they stay great. Ps the Cajun barra great, the special lobster and prawn pie was excellent and wish permanantly on menu. The schnitzel with garlic prawn Sc was very sad, which is usually my fave but won't order that again.

Food was AMAZING. Best vegan schnitty i've had in Adelaide, great portion size & very tasty. Woody grill was also great mix of flavours that compliment eachother. Side salad was yummy but difficult to eat in that small bowl (cutting up the lettuce would have helped). Overall extremely happy with the meals. Service could have been better (waited in line for a while, only 2 staff on and neither of them were in any hurry to attend to customers) and didnt get table water.
