Alexandra Fountain — Attraction in Bendigo

I love this spot I take my kids here and when the family is up from Melbourne we all head here too. Beautiful gardens and scenery, history surrounds you with the poppet head to climb, the fernery full of fruit bats, the botanical gardens and conservatory from way back in the 1800s, ulumbra theatre that was Bendigo's old gaol, court house, Chinese gardens etc the list just goes on! You must visit the fountain. Travel up to Bendigo and check this amazing fountain out. See it during the day and then come back to her at night when she is all lit up. If you pop up to the Bendigo art gallery they have a giant photograph of the fountain square from goldfish days. If you shut your eyes down at the fountain you can still see the echo of horses and coaches going around...
