The walk is signed as a Grade 4. Not sure why. It's not hard. At the end of Murray Bay Rd there is a carpark. It is here that you can start the walk to Mother Beddock if you just want to do a quick up and back. The photo attached shows the view. You can keep walking if you want and follow the path to another lookout. A bit further you get to a sort of "y" intersectio where the main path to the left takes you down to Rose Bay or there is a smaller path to the right that takes you back to Murray Bay Rd and then you turn right to follow the road to the carpark. It is also possible to start your walk at Horseshoe Bay near the Cafe but this would make it quite a long walk as you would want to stop and see the Rotary Lookout, the WW2 radar and then come past Murray's Beach. None of it is hard although for both the Rotary lookout and WW2 radar there are a few rocks to step up at the end. I am hardly what you would call agile and I found it easy.
