For the abundance of fun they packed into this small area I was only disappointed that there wasn't a bigger space and more picnic tables to bring more friends and family.

Where most parks pack in plenty of grass areas this one aimed at more fun activities for all ages.

There's no fences so best to keep close watch on toddlers but let your older kids explore the fun.

A giant centre piece climbing treehouse stands as the epicentre to the park with pole or slide to get back to ground level, but if heights aren't your thing there's plenty for the ground dwellers below, swing rope bridges and seats, giant log swing your whole family can go on, trampolines set in ground look like martian planets, tunnels, a creek that can be explored, dinosaur footprints to follow and dinosaur fossils that can be buried and refound.

There's no shops nearby but Whiteman Park is a quick drive away so spend a day in the Swan Valley but don't tell everyone or you'll have crowds to deal...

well if your kids love climbing /jumping/spinning then this is the park to satisfy it all.it has climbing ropes for all age levels which includes the small cubby house type in the toddle area. trampoline to satisfy the jumping jacks. it has got lovely equipment which you may not have seen in your local suburban parks in general so its a definite try for kids who love to go on new things. limited car parks though i am sure this place will be crowded during weekends, which might be a problem. no fencing too so should always be careful with where the kids are as lot of construction still happening in that area. this park is definite to tie your kids with the different...

One of the best free outdoor playgrounds I've ever taken my daughter to.

The slide is huge - you'll only find bigger ones at amusement parks.

The wide variety of unique play equipment means this park is fun for kids of all ages (toddlers thru to pre-teens). We went with kids from 5 to 10, and they played for 3 hours, and still didn't want to leave!

Has plenty of grass areas surrounding the playground for the parents to sit on. Also has a few picnic tables, and a couple of BBQ's (free to use).

The temporary public toilets are on the far side of the lake.

The only thing lacking (at least until the shopping centre is built) is...
