Transcend Trails — Attraction in City Beach

I recently had the pleasure of supplying glamping tents for a Transcend Trails event and couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Shane, the owner, was fantastic to work with—professional, communicative, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience for everyone involved.

The event location itself was absolutely stunning, a perfect backdrop for a glamping setup. The guests were respectful, tidy, and a delight to host, which made the whole process seamless.

Transcend Trails operates a fantastic trail running event. I've done the 65 km two years in a row and think it is a well managed event. What I like most about this event is the ethos that the operators have. Things like donating to Australian Wildlife Conversancy being a prerequisite for entry, together with providing evidence of collecting some trash off the trails. This shows a genuine care for the natural areas we traverse during this event.

Doing the 65km Transcend Avon Valley Ultra Marathon was both the most difficult physical challenge I have ever undertaken but also it was by far the most scenic and tactical trail I have ever run too...

The event is extremely well organized from the early pre race information to the event itself with some wonderful people/volunteers helping out at the aid stations or start/finish lines too.

13+ hours of pain but would I do it again??? Absolutely, bring on...
