Nothing beats this beach. Fantastic place for friends and family. There are bbqs to use but you can bring down a picnic and a bottle of wine. There are surf lifesavers patrolling the beach during the day. Beach volleyball nets are available for hire or byo. And the sunsets. You have to be there.

Great place for cricket. Slow outfield and less runs to score. Great view of the beach from top of the oval. There are plenty of walking pathways for dogs. No public toilets close by other than at the main oval. Limited park on the ovals but enough at close to beach.

The Claremont Jets approached the Town of Cambridge regarding an oval we could use for our Gridiron Pre-season training. They recommended City Beach Oval (Lower). The ground lights up very well, and our team has loved having this oval available for our training.
