This tent has been at this spot for half a century. Shows how government doesn't really care about Aboriginal people. It's sad but it's true.

I saw a Bunyip just south of clarrie hall dam.... it's eyes were just as sam Millgate says in the Hexham swamp story! It's head was like a giant Goanna and axelotl cross species. It was a giant axelotl with a long thick round tail ..as though it's not for swimming, same thickness all the way to the end and no hair or anything on the end. The size of a bull 🐂 I nearly hit it in my dad's rodeo because the headlights were off and the moonlight was sufficient. I lit up my high beams and it ran across the road! I was doing about 80km in the dark so it didn't see us coming. It's eyes omg were soooo big with tiny little round black pupils not much larger than ours and golden orange eyes like an eagle's colour but the size of Dinner 🍽️ Plates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've kept this quiet for three years but I'm telling you it was living in the dam and left after it herded all the fish into the northern corner of the dam before eating them all at night. I noticed plenty of fish in one corner of the dam in the shallows during the day a week prior to going back and seeing IT. These fish aren't the types of fish that live in the shallows during the day!!!! They were bass!!!! I didn't have rod so I went back with my mate Jordan to catch some and what happened?????? Zero fish in the dam. We fished all day with bait and lures!!!!!and walked down to the spillway where we bagged out on bass!!!! It had white wet skin but looked me directly in the eyes because I think it knew I was the one driving.......anyway I'm saying something because Sam millgates story has been discredited which isn't fair. I'd like someone to investigate the dam and surrounding areas and actually prove that they were correct please. Yes Hexham swamp is in Newcastle and I was near nightcap which proves these things can move around and I swear it was running over 100km an hour across the road to it new eating places.... maybe the Wilson's river all the way to Woodburn and beyond is all murky waters the whole way so it can hide with gills on its head!!!!!!! I honestly didn't see it's legs because I was too busy looking at it's eye. I was scared it's tail was going to hit the windscreen but it actually lifted it's tail so it just missed the top corner of the windscreen with the end of it. It hides in murky waters and you've BEEN warned! I honestly think it's capable of eating a person too. I used to love bushwalking at night Now I don't walk on the beach without a strong torch and I'd never bushwalk at night alone without a torch and a sharp stick and a dog. I didn't ask to see this thing so don't judge me....kind...

These tents are ugly and messy. Aboriginals are Australian like all of us! Some of them like the division because it makes them money! Most of them get on with their lives and enjoy the best country in the world - Australia! 200 years ago and beyond the world was in turmoil - was it those generations that followed fault about who caught with whom and who conquered whom? Shall the English seek reparations from the Normans and Vikings? Shall the Egyptians seek repetitions from the rich Arab states for being invaded and conquered by Arabs? Stop trying to divide and let us work forward together as...

Some nuts here in the reviews are saying stuff like "It's a shame that this tent's still here after a century, shows that the government doesn't care" or, "It's just a boring bit of land, nothing much", and other comments of the like. I mean, come on. I admit there's not much there, but that's not the point. Learn a bit about the history of the tent embassy and how it came to be there, and then you'll appreciate it a bit more. And, it's a nice...
