因為證件過期問題,尋求中國大使館幫助,雖然最後都沒辦法幫忙,但看到大使館職員真的很用心努力幫我和孩子,我很衷心感謝他們,特別感謝周先生耐心解釋

I went on the embassy’s website to find information for a visa to Hong Kong on there it clearly states that the processing time for the visa is 4 working days and it doesn’t mention any where that visas for Hong Kong need to be sent to Hong Kong for processing. Based on this information I booked my holiday 3 weeks ahead believing that I was able to obtain a visa for Hong Kong within 4 working days. After gathering all documents required for the visa application I went to the Chinese Consulate in Melbourne to submit the application after waiting for 2.5 hours to be served I was told that all visas for Hong Kong need to be sent to Hong Kong for processing and it would take at least 4 weeks to process. My holiday was booked to depart in 3 weeks time so they didn’t accept my application and told me that there was nothing they could do to help me and that I needed to contact the Hong Kong Immigration Department in Hong Kong to see if they could help me. Of course I contacted the Hong Kong Immigration Department and they said bad luck the processing time is 4 weeks you booked your holiday too early that is your problem. I lost all the money that I paid for hotel in Hong Kong because the booking was not refundable and lost most of the money that I paid for the flights because of the cancellation fees! In total I lost about $5,000.00 so instead of having a nice holiday for this amount of money I ended up with stress, heartache and disappointments. I’m writing this hoping that other people will be aware of this issue and won’t be misled by the information provided by the Chinese Embassy in Australia about visas...

LOL the really pathetic matter here is that people still being possessed by some of the press journals and attacking Chinese for all those stereotypes. Even as a Chinese I have never heard of or saw anything like 'dog and cat meat trade' I only have seen too many people loving their pets as their own children. I love my country regardless of many facts and I will not deny anything that is true and happening in our country. But I'm sorry 'animal fan' you are simply a hater, then you could keep hating and I will keep loving. Let's see who lives a...

The embassy is full of extreme and disgusting bureaucracy, making the process as cumbersome as possible and maximising the risk of private information leakage. More, the entire process is riddled with coercive protocols and very unprofessional staff. The Embassy's services are as ugly as...
