Uriarra Crossing deserves 5 stars. This beautiful location is perfect for a day out with family or friends. It offers excellent picnic areas, scenic views, and spots for swimming or fishing in the Murrumbidgee River. The natural surroundings are serene and well-maintained, making it a wonderful escape into nature...

Magical place. Crossing is over Murrumbidgee River. Thereā€™s walking trails on either side of the crossing as well as swimming holes when the river is high enough. Thereā€™s two different BBQ areas also as well as a couple of toilets. Nice retreat not far from the hustle and bustle of Canberra. Unfortunately...

Nice place close to Canberra to check out if needing a bit of a break from the urban zoo. Had a good walk up and down the river, snacked on wild blackberries (ouch and yummy), and tried my hand at lure fishing (no luck). There's also a large sandy pool the looks...
