Gorgeous river spot! Plenty of areas to access for a dip. Wood BBQ's (not gas) toilets and plenty of parking. We enjoyed a swim with kids and dogs on Australia Day. Got the tip to head down early so 9am was perfect, by 10.30am it was absolutely packed with people setting up to stay the day.

Awesome off lead swim spot for dogs. Heaps of grass areas for zoomies and lots of space if you need to keep your doggie a little seperate from others 10/10

This area must be one of the best kept secrets in Canberra. A top BBQ area - good parking -- and you can take the dog. Good swimming in the river. Toilets. BBQs - BUT - wood. So bring matches. NO...
