Capital Region Farmers Market opens every Saturday from 07:00 to 11:30. Take the lightrail to the EPIC station and then walk for about ten minutes to the market. The route was quite pleasant, and there were many cherry blossoms along the way 🌸🌸🌸.
As for the market itself, it's actually quite small 😂. Basically, you can walk through it in about 15 minutes. However, many people buy food and coffee and then enjoy a picnic on the grass outside.
Inside, you can find some vegetables and fruits that are labeled as "No Chemical" 👍🏻. For example, the bok choy I bought had many holes on the leaves and wasn't as huge as the ones in supermarkets 😂. A bunch of bok choy and tomatoes only cost 5.1 AUD 😇. Additionally, there were plenty of apples and oranges for sale! Most of them were priced at 4 AUD per kilogram!

Read moreMore than just a marketplace the capital region farmer's market can be a great outing on a Saturday morning. with a wide variety of stores catering to fruits and veggies, meat products, mushrooms flowers, and baked goods, there is something for everyone. While this place tends to get very busy, particularly in the warmer sessions, there is ample parking - sometimes you just need to walk a little further to/from your car. Dogs are not allowed inside the markets and there's almost no need to bring cash as most vendors have adopted paywave style card purchase processing in response to Covid. ATMs are available onsite near the front entrance to the market if you need...
