Great location with a tram stop a short walk (4 - 5 minutes) from the main camping area. Or drive 1 minute and park inside the showground and walk only 50 metres to the tram stop straight into the centre of Canberra. You can use a credit card to tap on and tap off with terminals at the station and no account necessary. The showgrounds camp area is large, grassy, mostlly flat and can accommodate all size vans. There is power, water and sullage points available at some sites but not all. The only issue is it becomes very wet very quickly when it rains but dried equally fast. The amenities block is small for such a large camp ground and I personally wouldn't use the showers but the toilets were clean. If you're fussy, it's probably best to be fully self contained as there is a dump point and large bins. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, take away shops etc within a 3k drive. Os good value for money and would...
Read moreI visited the Westfield Woden mall and I had a great time. The mall has a variety of stores, from fashion to electronics, and everything in between. I found some amazing deals at the clearance sales and bought some nice clothes and accessories. The mall also has a food court with many options, from fast food to healthy salads. The mall is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The parking is easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend this mall to anyone looking for a good...
